What are Check Activities?
Check activities are structured exercises conducted during the competency validation process. These can include simulated scenarios, group challenges, or other interactive tasks, where participants demonstrate behaviours that align with the competencies being evaluated. Validators can observe and document these behaviours to ensure the competencies are accurately reflected.

How are Check Activities used in the Validation Process?
They provide opportunities for participants to showcase skills, helping validators assess competency levels. Evidence from these activities supports the final validation.

How to use the Observation Form

The observation form is a tool for capturing key details about the activity and observed behaviours. The short version allows a concise overview of competencies and observations, while the extended version includes additional fields for in-depth analysis of behaviours, context, frequency, and effectiveness.
Validators use the form to document and rate the participant's competency level, supporting the validation process with clear and structured evidence.
